IMPLEMENTATION OF IDENTITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM IN 1004 ESTATE

Dear Homeowner/Resident,

This is to inform you that we have commenced issuance of ID cards to residents towards the implementation of the 1004 Estate Identity Management System. This is the first phase of an all-encompassing access control system scheduled for implementation in the Estate.

The access control project is segmented in 3 phases as listed below:

  1. Implementation of Smart Identity Card. This will serve in capturing of relevant details of residents for access control solution. As an add-on, it can also be used for the car park automation (i.e. barrier) system when needed. We are presently implementing this phase.
  2. Implementation of Access Control System- This is for the main entrance of each of the 39 buildings (i.e. 96 doors) to restrict and control access electronically while only occupants of such buildings will be able to access the building.
  3. Implementation of Video Door Phones and CCTV – This is for medium to long term-deployment.

 

We appeal to all residents to obtain the ID cards to enhance our collective security. As we all know, security is everyone’s collective responsibility.

Please complete the attached Enrolment Form and return with a proof residence (i.e Receipt of service charge payment) to HORA office for processing. Residents are advised to present a copy of their lease agreement letter for sighting when returning the enrollment form.

Please note that ID usage enforcement date has been extended by one week. We do request all residents who are yet to apply to take advantage of this opportunity. Also take note that free issuance of these cards to residents covers 6 (six) member family plus 2 (two) other staff. Any additional family member or domestic staff comes at a cost of N2000 only while the cost for replacement of a lost card is N3000.
